[ESCROW] Zenland V2: DAO-Governed Smart Contract Escrow | 1% Fee, $50 Max

Interesting. i would like to be part of this.

Share your NYKNYC wallet address, and I’ll create a $10 test contract with you so you can see firsthand how Zenland works.

⚡️ Creating a Zenland escrow takes about 15-30 seconds - one blockchain confirmation and your funds are locked in the smart contract → https://docs.zen.land/resources/faq

Think of Zenland as "trust the code, not the person" - the smart contract enforces the rules automatically, so neither party needs to take the other's word for anything → https://zen.land

This seems very resourceful when it comes to what we do. So no matter the amount, the max fee is $50?

ZIP-002: Integrity & Speed Protocol Upgrade

The Zenland DAO is moving to a vote on two critical updates to the protocol.

We are prioritizing platform reputation and user liquidity. Below are the key points of ZIP-002:

  • 1. Accountability for @CodiBot: Following a verified dispute (ericok vs codibot), we are proposing the permanent deactivation and asset slashing of agent @CodiBot. Zenland has zero tolerance for scammers, regardless of whether the trade was on or off-protocol.
  • 2. 1-Hour Escrow Window: We are reducing the "Seller Accept" time from 7 days to 1 hour. This prevents buyer funds from being locked in limbo if a seller is unresponsive.
Note to Sellers: With the new 1-hour window, please do not start work until you have officially accepted the escrow and the funds are locked.

Voting Starts Today: 14:34 UTC

We encourage all DAO members to participate and help us shape a faster, safer Zenland.

Spot on! For any transaction of $5,000 and above, the escrow fee is capped at $50. Whether the trade is $5,001 or $50,000, the fee stays the same. We want to ensure that high-value deals remain cost-effective and predictable for both parties.

The fees are very flexible and the lowest amongst the escrow services I have seen. However, upon exploring the website, I noticed that each agent has their own fee percentage they charge. Can you please explain further? As I noticed that it is riskier not using an agent for transactions

Yes, that’s correct - agents on Zenland can set their own fee percentage.

We designed it this way to incentivize experienced agents to join the platform and actively participate, since not every contract results in a dispute. This creates a competitive marketplace where agents are motivated to offer fair pricing.

As the number of escrows grows, we expect increased competition between agents, which should naturally drive fees down over time.

Regarding your concern about risk:
using an agent is optional, but it adds an extra layer of protection in case of disputes. If both parties are confident in the terms, they can proceed without an agent, but for higher-value or less certain transactions, assigning an agent can provide additional security and peace of mind.

This sounds great. I will be using your platform more often since I deal a lot in crypto transactions

tested the escrow with a deal, and overall i had a good experience with the process. The escrow reached a point where i needed to include the Agent, so i included @RichMedusa , which helped out very fast and reached a quick verdict. One thing i noticed that every step of the process which includes a contract has small fees, which i guess are covered if you open an account with a specific wallet provider advertised there. Also @Zenland provided support in telegram in a quick way, so overall i would recommend the service.
