The current state of gmail account buy/sell

I have been purchasing gmail accounts for a few years now, from before I got into the BHW community, mainly from ***. But Google has been cracking down on account creation, and naturally, prices have kept increasing, such as this most recent crackdown https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48092028

Not only that, lately, even my accounts that served me for several months are getting blocked and/or asking for verification. My use case doesn't need an @gmail.com email to send or receive emails, I only need youtube. So I started buying non-gmail google accounts, which at first were a bit cheaper and also lasted longer. But lately, the only non-gmail offers I'm seeing are for accounts lasting less than 24 hours to at most a week. And now, today I refreshed the page and all the non-gmail offers vanished from the guy I used to buy from.

I wanted to ask what is the current climate like with buying/selling gmail accounts and what the best approach is for getting and operating google (can be non-gmail) accounts for the purpose of accessing youtube.
  • Age is not a factor, fresh is cheaper and works, unless aged accounts last longer
  • Country is not relevant either, can be global mix of IPs
  • Any measures I can take to prevent an account from being flagged would be great
As for volume, I'm looking to buy accounts in the 100-1000 range.

since your use case work with any email. Why don't you try with other non popular free email address provider like protonmail,fastmail, tutamail etc or if you want total control of the email address buy some cheap domain names and a server to host and create your own email address from the domain names.
 
What a friend usually does, is he buys SIM cards which cost around $4 in my country. Then he uses that SIM to create Gmail, Yahoo mail, outlook, and even social media accounts from same SIM. These SIMs are already activated.
 
@telim2 for accessing youtube without rate limits, you need a google account, be it gmail or otherwise. When you try to sign up for google, even with an existing non-gmail email address instead of a new one, you still have to do the same kind of song and dance. For example, here is what I get with an @outlook.com email address:

The reason google does this is to address bot activity on youtube, like viewbotting, comments section, etc.

My use case is above board, but Sundar's not my uncle, so I get put in the same bucket as the bot folks, unfortunately.
 
I have same problem, with the difference that I really need Gmail accounts and also need them to last long.. because after 1-2months when I get banned in Gmail I cant access my accounts anymore, which means huge loss for me.
Before I used to buy aged gmails (6m+), but lately even they get banned more than what it used to be...

Yo, I’m from Vietnam. There was this case recently where three young dudes got arrested by the police back in March for buying and selling a massive amount of Gmail accounts 8.5 billion worth.

When I read the news, I was like this is fucking insane. 8.5 billion is not a small number at all. The profit they were making must have been ridiculous. And even if Google tightens security, these guys will always find a way. They use tools to mass-create accounts and then just let them sit on computers to age.

When you say 8.5 billion worth, you mean in currency value or in number of accounts?

8.5 billion emails, sir. Because if it were 8.5 billion dollars, that would be a universe-scale event. But 8.5 billion emails on our side is already absolutely terrifying.

crazy :) i love vietnam haha ..been there once in hanoi and da nang and its such a great place, but didn't know they have such good spammers there too :D
