Google Ads account suspended due to circumventing systems policy - cloaking

Hi all,

I've been advertising with my current Google Ads for the past 3 years, without any issues for an iGaming company. Suddently, without any prior changes, my account got suspended. I've been using landing pages that are not connected to my main domain, however, now I am wondering if it's best to start everything from scratch with a new account.

Here's what i intent to do:

1. Through a new browser (brave) I will Create new account under a new email address
2. All existing landing pages will be redirected to new hosting and domains
3. New payment method will be linked
4. I will restrain from launching ads for a couple of weeks, just in case

Since we are using clear content in the landing page and the keywords are with trigger words I will not try to appeal this account.

Do you have any suggestions in order to smoothly get over this suspension and avoid a new one with this new account?

The trick with cloaking is to have a decent cloaking setup second, but first and foremost, you need plenty of google ad accounts, they will all get banned eventually.

I had a backup where I tested different strategies but that one got banned within 6 months. This one held up for 3 years which is a record.

Any suggestions on good cloaking setup?

All I can say is roll your own, theres 3 layers on where you can cloak and I would not use the services that are out there. I would focus on having many ad accounts instead, 6 months is a very good lifetime, 3 years is frankly incredible

Did you ever find out why they got taken down? First step is to map every possible wire you tripped, then check one by one.

When you got that part down, setting the cloaker up should be your last step, doing all you can to avoid whatever tripped the penalty line

This can happen even if you aren't using cloaking—simply due to the affiliate pattern. To start, use an anti-detect browser and proxies—rather than just a standard browser with multiple profiles.

If you’re starting fresh, make sure you use a clean residential proxy or a 4G dongle, otherwise Google will link your IP and ban the new one instantly. Also, don't reuse any images or code from the old landing pages because they can track those footprints too.

iGaming suspensions are brutal. Your plan is okay, but Brave browser won't hide your hardware fingerprint. Google will link you to the old account in minutes.

Use a dedicated anti-detect browser (like Dolphin{Anty}) and fresh residential proxies. Also, don't just redirect your old landers; Google's bots recognize the code structure and MD5 hashes of your images. You need to tweak the HTML/CSS so it looks "new" to their crawler.

For payments, ensure the new card has no link to your previous name or billing address. Instead of just waiting 2 weeks, run a tiny "white-hat" campaign for $2/day to build some trust before you push the iGaming keywords. If you go straight to high-risk triggers on a fresh account, you'll get flagged instantly.

Hey, quick update- i got my account back after 3 appeals. Turns out I launched a new campaign with new landing page which had a trigger word in the meta descriptions. Interesting enough the campaign was rejected immediately and the suspension occured 2-3 days after. Totally random.
