Banned for "Non-consensual nudity" policy, what are the chances I can get my account back?

Its still not yours, and it would be nice if the world worked the way we thought all the time in favour of us. But you found out already thats a wrong strategy, yet here you are still prepared to live and die by the same sword. (again!?) lol

Create your own CONTENT! So that no one can claim it as their own!
 
Dude, that sucks, getting banned with 20k followers is a total bummer. Since the content you reposted wasn't yours and didn't seem to violate the rules, the chances of getting your account back are decent, but it really depends on how good the appeal process is
 
A few things that might help your appeal: be very specific that the flagged tweet contains reposted content with the original creator visible, and explicitly state you have no way to have violated NCN policy since you didn't originate the content. If you have screenshots of the original posts from other accounts, attach them. X has been known to act on coordinated mass-reporting campaigns without proper review. Mentioning that in your appeal doesn't hurt. Good luck, hope you get it back.

Read this, and be VERY careful with everything you do online. You want to learn and make money yes, but you DON'T want to burn your bridges everywhere. Everything digital is/can be an an asset. So read T&C's, and before you "find a way, cause you seen some other gezzer doing it" (such a common mistake its unbelievable) have a think about what is fundamentally going on, who owns what, and is this content YOUR'S from creation to own? "Aint nuttin funny, still nuttin move but the content creation and the money...." lol

There is a chance you can get back on to x in the future, whne you move home/router/computer (all at once lol) but its better you don't make such drastic changes just for 1 site. Maybe if you got banned from 10+ different sites, i would be saying fresh router, and fresh pc. But never let it come to that.
 
X support is notoriously automated and slow, so your chances of getting it back depend entirely on whether you can prove those clips were reposts with proper credit. Just keep pushing the appeal daily with screenshots and don't lose hope, but definitely start working on a backup account in the meantime just to be safe.
 
I managed to find the offending tweet, and to trace back the original poster, the original poster still has the account up and running.

The video itself has a watermark from a popular porn webpage on the corner, which is totally unrelated to the original poster.

And I have the link that shows up when you use the "Post video" function, my tweet and the original tweet where the video was featured

I have screenshots as well, but I have nowhere to send them other than to the email I got when I got suspended.

So is the original poster owner of the video? Or did that page just post a video, which you then reposted on your page via the "Post video" thing, but you don't actually know who is in the video itself?

If that's the case, the "original poster" isn't the "original", but rather someone who has either downloaded a video from a porn site and added a watermark, or not even that. There are many shady websites where people download adult videos from, and a lot of the time they are non-consensual, especially homemade ones. Sharing this on Twitter can get your account into trouble, as they have an obligation to obey the law, unlike porn sites hosted in Russia or Belize, etc...

The video was downloaded from the webpage, as it has a watermark embedded into the video itself. It's not PH or any of that kind, it's more the kind of webpage for amateur material. But the video itself it's made by known actors
 
You can't do anything about it as long as you don't own the videos. You're dealing with bots that ban thousands of accounts daily. They don't bother much about appeals. It's better to move on.

I’ve seen a few people mention similar situations lately, sometimes automated moderation seems to react first and review later, especially when reports pile up quickly
 
I made a batch of new accounts already, in the mean time I'll just make a new appeal sending the links I have even though it's just cope currently lol.

I just hate the slow phase of warming the accounts up
 
Hard to get it back if it’s that policy, Meta is strict on it. Best case is appeal + wait, but most of the time it’s permanent once flagged like that. New account + clean setup usually ends up being faster.

I wasn't monetizing anything, I didn't have Twitter blue. Someone clearly exploited Twitter report system.

I got a reply from the first appeal, which is the generic we have reviewed the additional information but we won't overturn the original decision.

They also told me to log in and to follow the on-screen instructions but nothing showed up when I logged in.

I get what you're saying since the X support system is basically non existent!
 
X moderation is really messy lately. I’ve seen accounts get hit even for reposted content if enough reports come in. Doesn’t seem very manual anymore. Some people do get accounts back after appeal, but it’s pretty random honestly. Hope yours gets restored, 20k hurts to lose.
 
Came here to inform that my account got finally unbanned, I was forced to delete the offending tweet and I'm on a 12 hour lock out. Seems like I'm shadowbanned as I cannot see myself when I use "from:user", but I'm officially unbanned as of now.

Honestly, checking if the original post was still active was such a good idea, because I sent these links in the appeals everytime. Thanks!
