Lately I’ve been seeing good results from improving internal linking and building content around one topic instead of random posts. Updating older pages also seems to help more than constantly publishing new stuff.

Totally agree. White hat SEO takes more time, but the results last longer. For me, helpful content and real backlinks are still working the best.

I hope you don't hear the testimonies of all those white guys and gals that have been living the good life from Google for almost a decade and now they have been completely destroyed after the AI advent.
There is no such thing as white hat and black hat nowadays, just best adaptation. And even if you chose one and worked for you you could switch for anything that could better work afterwards.
But personally in 2026 I would narrow myself to any technique specially if it's worthy considering how hard is ranking now. I would grasp at straws if you found any opportunity

Everything white-hat is always better in the the long-term, SEO is no different.

Umm what hat build the foundation but smart SEOs mix in some gray hat link building too to speed things up & pure white hat is too slow for most real world budgets and timelines thats my thinking i might be wrong.

White hat is definitely the way to go if you want to sleep at night without worrying about the next update. I've been getting great results by focusing on topical clusters and updating older posts to keep them fresh and relevant for search intent.

white hat SEO still feels more stable for long term rankings. Lately, what’s working best for me is creating helpful content around search intent, improving internal linking, updating old articles, and getting backlinks from relevant websites naturally. Technical SEO, page speed, and topical authority also seem much more important now than just building large numbers of links.

Yes, it's better for long term. it takes more time but rankings feel more stable and safer compared to shortcuts or blackhat methods.

- targeting low-competition long-tail keywords
- refreshing old posts regularly

I think white hat SEO is still the best approach for stable rankings Quality content proper on page SEO and natural backlinks take time but the results seem more reliable in the long run. What white hat methods are working best for you lately?

Yeah I agree. Right now white hat SEO works best when you focus on one niche, create content that fully answers user intent, and keep building internal links between related posts. Natural backlinks from real sites and updating old content also help a lot. Consistency is what really drives stable rankings now.

Topical Authority + strong internal linking is working best for me lately. Fewer but more relevant backlinks, updated content, and matching search intent seem to outperform aggressive link building now.

Yes white hat seo is much better for long term growth because it builds stable rankings and lowers the risk of penalties.... it takes more time but the results usually last longer and grow more naturally
