Are Fresh Pins More Important Than Repins Now?

Pinterest used to favor repins, but now fresh content seems important. What’s working for you?
From what I've seen new pins get prioritized. However, some of my older pins work as well but not so good as the fresh new ones.

Fresh pins now play a bigger role in reach, but repins still help distribution, so combining both is the most effective strategy.

Fresh pins matter more now, so posting new designs regularly works better than just repinning old ones.

Yeah bro, same here. Pinterest definitely changed :suspicious: - fresh original content now matters more than before.

What’s working for me is posting new pins regularly + always giving them a small initial push. :smirk: = If a pin has zero repins and zero activity in the first hours, the algorithm barely shows it to anyone. So I usually save/repin it myself from a couple accounts or ask a few friends to repin early. Once it gets some momentum, it starts spreading better.

If you need cheap help with that (initial repins, keywords, etc.), check out Zeerk - prices start really low, cheaper than most places... There are gigs for Pinterest promotion that can give your fresh pins that first boost. You still need good content though, but that little push helps the algorithm notice it.

I think fresh content is less about posting more often and more about giving Pinterest a new reason to understand what your content is about instead of seeing the same thing over and over

Honestly new content always bring traffic to your acc, replies boost your page but not as fast as new content.
