In this section, we'll be sharing all of the important news, updates, and changes about BlackHat World! So we'll be going more in-depth with forum updates, talking about newly implemented or upcoming features and more! The best part? Unlike the BHW Changelog, you'll be able to reply to the threads and take part in the discussions!

Don't worry, the Changelog isn't going anywhere. Think of the Changelog as the bullet points for any updates or changes to the forum. This section will not only expand on those updates and changes in more of a story or explanation format, but we'll be using it for even more!
A few of the things we've already discussed using it for is polls, throwing out ideas to see what you folks think, or just letting you know what we're up to behind the scenes.

What's the Purpose of a News and Updates Section?
This section has been created so that you, the BlackHat World user, can not only read more about different BHW related topics, but so that you can also engage with the threads! As we build out this section, you're going to find:- Updates about forum features, tools, and software changes
- Announcements about new rules or tweaks to existing ones
- Information about community initiatives, events, or opportunities
- Notices about downtime, maintenance, or technical issues

What are the Rules and Guidelines for This Section?
Thanks for asking! This section is going to be a little different. As mentioned before, we'll be using this section to give more context and explanation or showcasing features and ideas. So, there's going to be a few things happening here that may not happen in other sections of the forum.- This section will be reply only. The different teams will post threads, and you'll be able to engage with those threads!
- All replies MUST follow the forum's Terms & Rules.
- Posts that aren't on topic, low effort or obvious post count spam will be removed with a Warning.
- Some threads may be time sensitive and then locked once we receive the information or feedback we need.
- Some threads may start out as locked if no discussion is necessary about the topic.
