Theme pages used to dominate certain niches, but now personal creators seem to get stronger engagement.

Are theme pages still profitable, or is building a personal brand the better strategy today?

Both can still work. Theme pages are good for scale and viral content, while personal brands usually get stronger trust and engagement. Many people now combine both — grow theme pages for traffic and build a personal brand for long-term monetization.

In my opinion, you should combine both. Use your personal page to build credibility, and use the topic pages as satellite sites to drive traffic.

I believe personal brand comes first because it enables to build and get viewed as an authority on your specific niche,

The theme, site structur, colours all these things have to do with understanding your audiences and how your big competitors fixed that (analyze their site) .

Happy Sunday !

Personal Brand will always win now, It creates trust super easily, It helps a lot with Brand Promotions, Sales and creating money out of it.

Theme Pages are outdated, it used to work extremely good 3-4 Years ago.

In my view, a combination works best. You can use your personal page to build trust and authenticity, while topic-focused pages act as supporting channels to attract and direct traffic more effectively.

Theme pages still work for volume and monetization but reach and engagement are getting weaker over time

Personal brands win long term because trust and connection drive higher conversion and more stable growth

Babe-pages always bomb hard.

theme pages are still profitable in a few niches (like motivational quotes or simple facts), but personal brand accounts now dominate with 2-3x better engagement and higher RPM. Instagram’s 2026 algorithm heavily favors real faces, personality, and authentic stories over faceless pages. If you want long-term growth and monetization, switch to personal brand — post consistent face videos, reply to every comment, and build direct audience trust. Theme pages are dying fast for most creators.

Use personal brand if you looking at a long term project. Both are still effective, it just depends on your goals.

I think both models still work, but it depends on the end goal. Theme pages can scale faster and are easier to test across niches, while a personal brand usually builds stronger trust and higher long-term conversions. A combination of both often gives the best results.

I think the strongest approach is to treat them as complementary rather than choosing one over the other. Theme pages are still great for testing niches and generating consistent traffic, while a personal brand creates trust that usually leads to better conversions over time. If I were starting today, I'd use a theme page to validate content ideas, then gradually build a personal brand around the topics that perform best. That gives you both scalability and long-term credibility

I think relativity within audience is the greatest asset for businesses today. If your audience is relating with you, then you can build any business profitable. that's why i think personal branding is worth more than anything these days.

If I had to start today, I'd build a personal brand. It's easier to earn trust, and that trust usually translates into better engagement and higher-paying opportunities.

I see all big influencers on FB, IG, IN, who making sales and get new followers every month , have personal brand their name (or nickname), their face as profile photo on that theme page, this will raise engagement and beats up theme pages. Theme pages are more common use for big companies, not single entrepreneur creators.

With big G which invented EEAT, which causes deep waves everywhere, big G and social platforms too , looking at you. You posting 30-40 news a day or be in a health niche without have academic qualification? They see that and they know if you are an single entrepreneur creator or a news magazine who has a stuff of employees. I hope it makes click for you.....
