I have started a campaign in Google ads for my crypto brand and i have setup white page and black page and I have cloak them and the ad was approved and getting 16000 reach and more than 400 clicks but 0 leads. What may be the problem? I would appreciate and expert advise.

If you’re getting clicks but no leads, the issue is likely with the landing page experience, trust signals, or audience targeting rather than the traffic itself. Improving the page’s clarity and credibility can often help conversions.

Please check one of the following reasons:
Landing page doesn't match the ad (Message mismatch)
Traffic not targeting the right audience
Landing page fails to build trust

If you’re getting clicks but no leads, the issue is usually with the landing page or audience targeting. Make sure the page loads fast, the offer is clear, and the form or CTA is simple. Sometimes traffic quality from broad targeting can also cause this.

The traffic filtering technique might be faulty the homepage might lack persuasiveness or your advertising message might be inconsistent.

To be honest the landing page was cloned from a successful ad campaign from a good affiliate agency.

I think the filtering might be the problem because the landing pages is being used and generating leads already in some other platforms

I think there should be a problem with the cloaking or not sure. Because I added a visitor monitoring plugin and i had a report from cloaking service that my black page clicks is 20+ and on my monitoring tool it show 4 visitors total.

maybe your lander is sketchy or doesn't match the ad so ppl bail. test diff offers n make sure the page builds trust. also refine ur targeting; cloaking alone won't fix conversions.

"16,000 reach and 400 clicks with zero conversions isn't a Google Ads problem—it’s a 'Trust Gap' problem in your cloaking setup. If your CTR is healthy but your CR (Conversion Rate) is 0%, your traffic is 'bleeding' at the moment of the redirect.

Here is the reality check most people won't tell you:

1. The 'Latency' Death Trap:How fast is your cloaker? If your black page takes more than 1.5–2 seconds to load because of the redirect/filtering logic, 50% of your crypto traffic (which is usually mobile and impatient) will bounce before the page even renders. Check your Server-Side Latency. If you are using a heavy JS redirect, you’re losing users to a white screen.

2. The 'Ad-to-Landpage' Congruency:Is your 'White Page' (the safe one) about something totally different from your 'Black Page' (the crypto one)? Even though the user sees the black page, Google’s pre-scan sometimes creates a 'preattentive' mismatch. If your ad promised 'Fast Crypto Gains' but the transition to the lander feels 'glitchy' or looks like a template, users smell a scam immediately. Crypto users are paranoid—if the UI doesn't look Tier-1 Institutional, they won't even scroll.

3. The 'Secret' Fix: The Soft-Click Buffer:Instead of cloaking directly to a Lead Form, try a 'Buffered Lander.'

  • The Trick: Don't ask for the lead on the first page. Add a simple, high-engagement button like "Check Eligibility" or "Verify Wallet Compatibility."
  • Why? It creates a 'Micro-Commitment.' If they click that second button, they are 80% more likely to fill out the lead form. Direct-to-form cloaking often feels too aggressive for modern crypto traffic.
4. Check your 'Bot Filter' Aggression:Are you sure your cloaker isn't accidentally filtering Real Users as Bots? Sometimes if your 'Strictness' level is too high, it sends 30% of genuine high-intent users to the White Page. Check your cloaker logs—if you see 'Human' IPs being sent to the safe page, your settings are killing your ROI.

My Advice: Stop the campaign for 24 hours. Test your Black Page load speed from a mobile device using a VPN in your target country. If it’s not instant, that’s where your money is going."

are 400 clicks really not converting to any leads or is there something else going on with your landing page or follow up process?
