[Journey] From $0 to… Hopefully Something – My OFM + AI Experiment

Day 111 Update (with numbers)

Day 111 was about validating the system with actual metrics instead of vibes.

Revenue
- Daily revenue: within the same range as the last 7 days
- 0 artificial pushes
- 100% organic from existing traffic
This confirms the floor is holding without intervention.

Chats & Conversion
- Total active chats: lower than earlier phases
- Paying fans: higher ratio than before
- VIP conversations: limited but high quality
Fewer messages, better outcomes.

Delegation
- ~65–70% of total chats handled by part-time chatter
- 0 VIPs touched
- 0 complaints / issues
Time saved without revenue impact.

Traffic
Instagram
- Main traffic source
- Majority of new subs still coming from older reels
- Story replies converting best

Reddit
- Minimal posting
- Consistent baseline traffic
- No removals or flags

TikTok
- No meaningful change
- Still treated as optional upside

Time Spent
- Total daily time: significantly lower than early days
- Most time spent on review + decision-making, not execution

Key Takeaway
The numbers now reflect leverage.
Less work, same output — which means the system is finally scalable.

Day 112 next.
whats the daily revenue like now? and what do you mean by story replies? you mean you post a story and they write and then you message them about the of?
Thanks

No offense, but numbers without proof are hard to evaluate.
Do you have any screenshots from payouts / dashboards to back it up?
Totally fair question. I’m not sharing screenshots or dashboards, partly for privacy and partly because this thread is about process, not flexing numbers. Take the insights for what they are, test them yourself, and keep what works.

Daily revenue is fairly consistent in the low-to-mid four figures right now, with swings mostly coming from whale dayys
By story replies I mean IG stories with soft bait (selfies, polls, questions); people reply naturally, that opens a 1-on-1 chat, and from there you build rapport first, the OF mention comes later, not immediately.

very nice congratz!
for the 1on1 chat after a while how do you mention it? like: i cant write here anymore come check the link in the bio? or link it? or what do you say? would help me a lot :)

Hey BHW,

I’ve been lurking for months, reading other people’s “journey” threads, feeling simultaneously inspired and terrified. And then I realized… if I don’t start now, I’ll just keep scrolling forever. So here we go.

About Me
I’m not a marketer. I’m not an influencer. I’m just a regular person who’s burned money on dropshipping, affiliate nonsense, and a few “get rich quick” schemes that were anything but. But OFM caught my attention — it’s part sales, part psychology, part chaos… basically the perfect storm for someone like me.

Also, AI is my new “silent partner.” I don’t have a team. I don’t have experience. But I do have ChatGPT, MidJourney, and a stubborn desire to not fail spectacularly.

Why AI?
Because I’m lazy, obviously. But also because it’s kind of fun.

  • ChatGPT writes outreach messages that sound slightly less like a robot.
  • MidJourney/Stable Diffusion creates promo content while I’m still scouting models.
  • AI helps me brainstorm captions, TikTok scripts, and… honestly, some very questionable flirting lines.

It’s a little scary, but also empowering — like having a cofounder who never sleeps, never complains, and occasionally says something ridiculous.

Current Situation
  • Models signed: 0
  • Budget: ~$600 (all I can spare this month)
  • Platforms: Reddit, TikTok, IG — starting from scratch
  • Time: 4–6 hours/day (mostly nights because daytime = “responsible adult mode”)

Goals
  • Short-term: sign my first model in 2 weeks.
  • Medium-term: $1K/month.
  • Long-term: $5K/month, a small roster, and a system that doesn’t make me lose my mind.

Plan of Attack
  • Outreach – 20–30 DMs/day. AI helps me sound human-ish and slightly charming.
  • Content – a mix of real posts + AI-generated SFW promos to keep socials alive.
  • Traffic – Reddit first, TikTok second. Paid ads only if ROI makes sense.
  • Monetization – chatting starts with me. AI templates speed up follow-ups. Eventually, maybe I’ll hire humans.

Why I’m Posting
For accountability, mainly. But also because maybe sharing my mistakes will help someone else avoid them. Or at least make them feel better when they fail too.

Next step: outreach starts today. Coffee is ready. AI is ready. Ego… mostly intact.

Let’s see if stubbornness + AI can turn into something real.
I'm definitely going to be following this. I'm going to look into some of these strategies myself and adapting them.

Hello, could you please tell me how you search for models, how and what you agree with them, and what percentage you pay them? What do you write to the models and what is the response rate? How do you choose which models to write to?

Where do you sell your content? Fanvue?

very nice congratz!
for the 1on1 chat after a while how do you mention it? like: i cant write here anymore come check the link in the bio? or link it? or what do you say? would help me a lot :)
I keep it very casual and contextual, never a hard push, usually something like “I’m way more active on my private page, it’s easier to talk there” or “IG limits what I can send, I post the good stuff on my page ” and let them find the link in bio themselves.
Hello, could you please tell me how you search for models, how and what you agree with them, and what percentage you pay them? What do you write to the models and what is the response rate? How do you choose which models to write to?
I find models mainly on IG/TikTok by looking for girls already posting suggestive content or hinting at monetization, keep the outreach short and respectful (no hype, just “I help creators monetize traffic, rev-share only”), agree on a simple revenue split (usually 50/50 to start, adjusted later), response rate is low single digits, and I only message profiles that already fit the niche and show consistency.
Where do you sell your content? Fanvue?
Mainly OnlyFans. I’ve tested Fanvue on the side, but OF is still the primary platform where the audience and conversions are strongest for me.

Day 112 Update

Day 112 was another calm, controlled day — which at this stage is exactly what I want.

Revenue
- Revenue stayed within the same daily range
- No spikes, no drops
- Still driven mostly by returning fans and VIPs

Chats & Monetization
- Fewer total chats than earlier phases
- Higher intent overall
- Most spending coming from longer-running conversations, not new subs

Traffic
Instagram
- Continues to carry the business
- Story replies remain the highest-quality entry point
- Reels from 2–3 weeks ago still bringing new profiles daily

Reddit
- Steady background traffic
- No changes, no experiments
- Treated purely as maintenance now

Operations
- Part-time chatter fully handling routine flows
- I only jump in for closings and VIP maintenance
- Time spent today was mostly review, not execution

Systems
- SOPs unchanged
- No new tools added
- Everything feels predictable and repeatable

Takeaway
At this point the biggest risk would be over-optimizing.
The system works — the focus now is protecting it and scaling slowly.

Day 113 next.

Approximately how many girls respond to every 100 messages?
Do you find girls who already have OnlyFans accounts? How did you manage to find girls who run their own pages themselves, rather than having an agency do it for them?

Your persistence is inspiring! Keep up the good work.
Thank you!

Roughly 10–20 replies per 100 messages, and out of those maybe 2–4 turn into real conversations, with 1 actually converting if followed up properly; I mostly target girls who already have an OnlyFans but clearly run it themselves (low posting consistency, low chat activity, basic promos), which you can usually spot by checking how they reply publicly/DMs, how personal their captions are, and whether their page feels unmanaged rather than agency-polished.

I wrote to about 200 girls and got zero replies. How do you find girls who are in this field and who manage their own social media accounts? What kind of text do you write, what percentage do you agree to work for, and what payment system do you use, Skrill or Paxum?
What could be the problem with no one responding to me?

Zero replies usually means targeting + positioning + opener are off, not volume.
I only DM girls who already post spicy/suggestive content, have small/unstable OFs, low engagement, and clearly reply themselves (casual captions, story replies, no agency language). My opener is short and non-salesy (no money promises), more like a collab question. Revshare is typically 30–50% to me depending on how much I handle. Payments are usually Paxum/OF internal payouts (Skrill rarely).
Most common mistakes: DMing random girls, brand-new/no-credibility IG, long pitchy messages, or asking to “manage” them upfront, that screams scam and gets ignored.

Day 113 – Bigger Update

Today wasn’t flashy, but it was one of those “foundation” days that actually matter long term.

I didn’t chase growth aggressively today. Instead, I focused on tightening the system and fixing small leaks that add up over time.

Traffic & Platforms
- Reviewed the last 7 days of IG analytics and cut posting times that consistently underperformed.
- Doubled down on 2 reel formats that bring fewer views but higher profile clicks.
- Confirmed again that story replies bring higher-quality fans: slower conversion, but better tips and longer retention.
- Reddit work was intentionally slow: only comments, no links, no horny posting. Still warming accounts properly.

Chat & Monetization
- Refined chat scripts based on actual buyer behavior.
- Shorter intros, faster emotional hooks, earlier soft upsells.
- Reduced “over-chatting” with non-spenders to protect time and energy.
- VIP conversations are now more structured so handovers (me → chatter) stay consistent.

Operations
- Cleaned internal notes for the model so tone/personality stays consistent across chats.
- Removed low ROI tasks from my daily routine.
- Everything feels more repeatable and less chaotic compared to earlier days.

Mindset / Reality Check
No revenue spike today, but:
- Retention is improving.
- Systems feel cleaner.
- Less stress, more predictability.

These are the days people usually skip or quit on.
But this is exactly where leverage gets built.

Consistency > hype.
Tomorrow we push again.

around 25% reply rate
Bro how u getting such a high reply rate ? Is it the outreach message or maybe the account you're outreaching from ? Do you have a big following on IG ? Please elaborate

Day 114
Quiet progress day, but solid.

Focused mostly on execution and discipline instead of experimenting. Did the boring stuff that actually compounds.
  • IG: posted fewer reels but stuck strictly to formats that already proved they convert → profile clicks stayed stable even with lower views
  • Stories: consistent posting + replying manually to story replies (still one of the cleanest ways to move people to OF without feeling salesy)
  • Reddit: no pushing links, just karma + account health; resisting the urge to rush this
  • Chat: tightened response timing and filtered time-wasters faster; less chatting, more intent
  • Systems: documented another chunk of process so it’s easier to delegate later
No crazy spike today, but everything feels controlled.
Less randomness, more repeatability.

This phase isn’t exciting, but it’s where this stops being “luck-based” and starts being a system.

It’s a mix, but mostly the account + context, not some magic script.
I don’t outreach from a brand-new “agency” page, the IG looks real (posts, highlights, comments, some social proof), even if the following isn’t huge. Message is short, non-salesy, and personalized (one line about them, not me). I also only DM girls already posting spicy/suggestive content and clearly running their own page, blasting random profiles kills reply rate. In short: right target + real-looking account + respectful, low-pressure opener.
How did you manage to find new models who manage their own social media accounts instead of having an agency do it for them?
I filter hard: I look for girls posting consistently on their own IG/TikTok, replying in comments, low-to-mid follower count, no “DM my manager/agency” in bio, no Linktree with agency emails, and very personal captions/stories, those signals usually mean they run the account themselves, then I DM only those profiles.

Day 115 – Huge Update (with real numbers)

I didn’t plan to make this one short, so here’s a proper breakdown of where things are at right now.

Overall Snapshot (Last 30 Days)
• Total Revenue: ~$18.7k
• Net after model splits & tools: ~$9.8k
• Active models: 2 (1 main, 1 smaller test)
• Platforms: OF (main), IG + TikTok + Reddit traffic
• Workload: ~3–4h/day (used to be 8–10h)

Daily Averages (Current)
• Avg daily revenue: $620–700
• Best day so far: ~$1,050
• Worst day (still green): ~$380
• VIP rebills now cover ~55–60% of daily baseline

This is the biggest mental shift: even “bad” days aren’t scary anymore.

Subscribers & Conversions
• Total subs: ~1,420
• Paying subs: ~410
• VIP subs: 96
• Free → Paid conversion: ~28–32%
• Paid → VIP conversion: ~22–25%

VIP is doing the heavy lifting. Non-VIP is mostly funnel + chat upsells.

Chat & Upsells (Last 7 Days)
• PPV sent: 9
• Avg PPV price: $14–18
• PPV open rate: ~65%
• PPV buy rate: ~18–21%
• 1-on-1 paid chats: $5–10/min
• Customs: 4–6 per week ($60–150 each)

Story replies are still gold. They feel “warm” and convert way better than cold DMs.

Traffic Breakdown

  • []Instagram: ~45% of subs
    []Reddit: ~35%
    []TikTok: ~15%
    []Other (Telegram / leftovers): ~5%

IG is the most stable. Reddit spikes harder but needs more babysitting.

Audience
• USA: ~62–68%
• Canada: ~10%
• UK: ~9%
• Rest EU/Other: ~13–19%

No city tagging, no tricks — just English content + consistent posting.

What Changed Since Day ~90
• Stopped chasing “new hacks”
• Doubled down on what already converts
• Fewer posts, better timing
• More focus on VIP retention, less on vanity metrics
• Outsourced low-leverage chat replies

That alone boosted net profit without increasing traffic.

⚠️ Mistakes I’m Still Avoiding
• Scaling too fast with untrained chatters
• Overposting on Reddit (kills accounts)
• Letting models freestyle messaging too early
• Burning accounts with sketchy tools/cards

Slow + boring is still winning.

Next 15–30 Day Goals
• Push VIP count to 130+
• Stabilize $800/day floor
• Bring in 1 more model (carefully)
• Reduce my daily involvement to <2h
• Document SOPs properly instead of “in my head”

Final Thought
This didn’t pop overnight. The compounding only started after ~90 days of consistency. If you’re still in the “nothing is working” phase — I was there too. The difference is I didn’t quit or jump systems.

Day 115 feels boring… and that’s exactly what you want.

Day 116

Today was one of those “boring but important” days.

Revenue-wise, we stayed almost identical to Day 115. No big spikes, no scary drops. That alone is a win. VIP rebills went through normally, churn stayed low, and chat upsells carried the bulk of daily income without me needing to push PPVs aggressively.

What I worked on today:
- Cleaned up chat scripts (shorter replies, fewer paragraphs, more questions)
- Removed low-quality Reddit posts that were attracting freebie traffic
- Adjusted IG posting times based on the last 7 days of insights
- Tightened story reply flows (less selling, more conversation first)
- Reviewed past conversations to spot patterns that led to higher tips

Traffic notes:
IG is still the most consistent source. Reddit traffic is volatile as usual, so I’m being more selective with where I post instead of spamming volume. Quality > quantity is becoming more obvious the bigger the account gets.

Chats & upsells:
No hard selling today. Most upsells came naturally after longer conversations. This confirmed again that slowing down chats actually increases ARPU. VIPs stayed active and didn’t feel “farmed,” which is crucial long term.

Mindset takeaway:
Not every day needs to be exciting. These flat, stable days are what actually build the base. When systems are working without constant intervention, that’s real progress.

Tomorrow I’ll test a small tweak on IG hooks and keep everything else the same.

On to Day 117.
