Hello,

We're sending igaming sms campaigns in EU, primarily in ES for now.
We're just breaking even unable to make it profitable. We spend 1k and make 1k.

Need some help from someone who is already doing this with good volume. We are sending directly to offers instead of landing page(reg page). Not sure what type of lander works best or how to create best one. Afraid we might even tank the conversions we're getting now.

Any help would be appreciated please

any help is highly appreciated guys!!

if you're sending igaming campaigns via sms then please ping me. I may even be able to help you get BETTER deals than you have right now, as a thank you!

Ive tried doing that and itt never worked? I think it's almost impossible ot get conversions nowadays

Mate, coming from many yearsy in online gambling, this is a fantastic ratio, especially considering the anti fraud measures on Anroid devices nowadays, you must have good lists.

I cannot say how to improve this stuff without any insight

The data partner we is in igaming only so he has lists that kinda work and we have experience in sms marketing. Are you still doing sms marketing? do you use landers? the data must be targeted else it won't work at all.

Yes when we first send campaigns to raw data we get -ve ROI then we segment and target clickers and then send again to them that time we break even but no matter what we aren't able to be profitable.
Are you still in gambling industry? Do you mind giving me your telegram to pick your brain for a few mins?

Thank you!!

Breaking even is still a good sign Usually moving from direct offer to a simple, localized pre-lander helps filter traffic and improve EPC, especially for iGaming. Start with small tests so you don’t risk current conversions. Curious to see what others running ES are doing.

Exactly what one of my friend said, to add prelander.
But I don't know what type of prelander to use. How aggressive can we be. We don't want to use a generic one and make the CR worse lol. We tested our own prelander but it didn't make any difference. So I'm also hunting to see what others are using for sms prelanders but can't seem to find those examples anywhere.
If you have them would you mind sharing a few just so we can understand what type they look like.

Those are some nice stats, especially from the EU.

I’ve been running WhatsApp traffic targeting a few EU countries as well as South America. For us, the lander is different for each country. I have team members who know how to build localized landers, and we test them to see which one converts better.

That said, this isn’t strictly necessary. If your offer is already converting well without a lander, you don’t really need to worry. However, from my experience, a well-optimized lander can significantly increase conversions in the long run.
Thanks for your insight.

Can you tell me what are you using to send bulk whatsapp messages? Is it cheaper than sms? What are the restrictions there. Is it easier than sms?
Thanks

We’re using the WhatsApp API. In terms of pricing, it’s not cheaper than SMS, but it performs much better.

You do need to spend on a solid API provider that won’t restrict your messages while sending. It can be a bit costly, but nothing too crazy. Once you have a reliable API that doesn’t limit your messaging, you’re good to go.

Overall, it’s very easy to work with and, in my opinion, more profitable than SMS.
I see thanks a lot man.
Can you recommend me a few good api providers? You can PM me if it's not suitable to msg in thread.
Lastly, is there any limit on sending via API as compared to sms? In sms we have to rotate the copy and hope they don't block the message by any triggered words used in content.

And is the pricing same for all geos? For IT we're paying €0.03 and for DE I think its €0.06 per sms. You said it's not cheaper than sms correct? Is it atleast same across all geos or varies.

I've also been experimenting with WhatsApp traffic and I'm curious to know more about the localized landers that FillipBozilinski is using. Can you share some examples or insights on how you're creating these landers for different countries? Additionally, what tools are you using to send bulk WhatsApp messages, are you using any specific services or software? I'm also interested in hearing more about Sofiabacklinks' experience with prelanders, have you found any specific types of prelanders that work better for iGaming offers?

Yes, the limits are API-based. There are APIs with 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 message limits. We usually go with 10k-limit APIs, and they reset daily.

We don’t rotate copies and never had any issues so far. Once you have the API, there’s no cost per message — the only cost is buying the API itself.

You can also get an API for free, but it takes time to get approved, and even longer to reach a decent sending limit.

I might be a bit outdated on SMS pricing. Based on the prices you mentioned, if that’s still accurate, then the API might actually be cheaper lol. I used to pay way less for SMS back when I was working with it.
So we can just load the phone numbers and send igaming campaigns without issues? Are there approvals or content blocking issues?

When we buy the API is it monthly pricing or daily?

I guess the CTR and open rate must be lower than sms though, bc sms has 90% open rates. Hard to top that.

Thanks for your insight.

The restriction is that WhatsApp will ban your accounts very fast , you have to be careful of keywords used, this will degrade conversions itself, but it's "cheaper"

Understood. Can you tell me on average if I have to send 100k messages a day how many accounts will I need? What kind of pricing am I looking at?

You might be looking at setting up software for this and we used to buy a real sim per account, since voip wouldn't last very well, that turned expensive very fast, even though a sim only cost us 10 eur a piece, but keep in mind nowadays this requires a registration with I'd in most countries, I just happened to know a shop selling these, since one main account managed this, the setting up and redistribution to the team was also time consuming.

We used it mostly for already onboarded players , who wouldn't report for spam, ban times have been random, but too fast for my liking.

Could outreach with specific keywords will last much less. You can try both approaches to establish the cost. A 3 rails test approach makes sense, it's hard to tell the cost ahead since the bans come at unpredictable rates

Seems there are lots of people selling whatsapp accounts and we can just load and send using that. Since it has no carrier there shoulndt be restrictions.

Sending igaming sms direct to offer without a pre-lander is probably why you're stuck at break-even, you're skipping the crucial step of warming up traffic and filtering out low-intent users before they hit the conversion page. Seriously, you gotta test some optimized pre-landers to see what kind of conversion lift you can get

We operate our own self-developed hardware data center and currently offer SMS at $0.003 per message (prepayment required).

We already have clients in Thailand and Vietnam who started with an initial $6 package. To ensure service quality and exclusivity, we only accept three clients per country.

We are looking for reliable partners to grow together in a long-term collaboration.

It sounds like you're stuck in a bit of a rut with your igaming sms campaigns in the eu. Since you're breaking even, I'd suggest focusing on A/B testing different landing pages, even if it's just to see if a simple registration page outperforms your direct-to-offer approach
