Hey Guys,

Not sure if it's just me, But gmail filters feel way stricter lately. Even my warmed up domains and clean lists are getting thrown into promotions or spam.
I've tried everything - Plain text emails, different send times, tweaking the copy- still hit or miss. Feels like Gmail's flagging almost everything now.

How are you guys keeping your emails in the inbox these days?
Are you changing setups, rotating domains, or just lowering daily sends?

Would love to hear what's working for you.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing lately. Gmail's way more sensitive now - even super clean setups aren't safe. I started using smaller sending batches, rotating more domains, and keeping my content ultra simple. Still testing daily though.. Feels like we' re all fighting Gmail's AI at this point.

If can confirm this is true. I also rarely get any spam mails in my inbox. Earlier, I used to get lot of spam mails.

Yeah. Gmail's really tightened up lately. It's great for users but kinda painful for senders. I think they've upgraded their spam filters big time this year. Have you tried testing with smaller batches or different domains lately?

Seeing the same trend. Gmail seems to be putting much more weight on sender reputation and user engagement than before.
What has been working on my side is slower warm up, smaller daily sed volumes per domain, and trying to get genuine interactions like replies and saves.
I am also rotating sending patterns and setups instead of keeping one static configuration. Plain text still works, but deliverability now looks so far more tied to behaviour signals than format alone.

Gmail’s tightening filters hard since mid-Q3. The new model weights sender reputation + behavioral signals way more than message content.

Even perfect SPF/DKIM/DMARC setups can land in promotions if you send from low-trust or newly rotated domains,

Also it could be your sending pattern looks machine timed (even intervals, same headers).

Gmail’s definitely not playing around this year. What’s been helping me a bit is focusing more on engagement - getting replies, clicks, and longer reads.

Also started rotating domains slower and sending smaller batches with super clean content. It’s not perfect, but inbox rate’s been a bit more stable since then.

Yeah, Gmail’s filters are super sensitive lately keeping sends low and mixing in real engagement emails seems to help a bit.

Yes that actually explains a lot. I think my send pattern is too regular too. Gonna try mixing up the timing and headers a bit. Thanks for the Tip. Did changing your pattern really help your inbox rate?

Yeah! engagement seems to matter a lot now. I've been focused on tech stuff and less on replies or clicks. gonna test your approach and slow down rotations too.

Yeah same story here. It's like gmail's mood changes every week- one day everything lands perfect, next day its all in spam. I've started focusing more on warming new domains super slowly and mixing in real conversation style emails. Still not perfect, but seems a bit more stable that way.

Yeah, Gmail’s acting weird lately. One day everything hits inbox, next day it’s all in spam for no reason .I’ve been trying to keep things chill - smaller sends, more natural messages, and slower warmups.

Still not perfect, but it’s working a bit better. Feels like Gmail’s just testing our patience at this point

Yes, Gmail filters have definitely become stricter recently. Many marketers are facing the same issue even with clean lists and warmed-up domains. What helps now is reducing daily sends, focusing on engagement and keeping emails simple and personal. Rotating domains and testing small batches before scaling can also improve inbox placement. Avoiding spam-trigger words and keeping a consistent sender name really makes a difference.

Yes, same issue here. Gmail filters are definitely stricter now. Reducing daily sends and keeping good engagement seems to help a little.

Honestly i don’t push heavy volume through Gmail myself so I haven’t tested it at bulk scale lately.

But i can say that logic applies pretty much everywhere now. Whether it’s Gmail, Outlook or any major provider timing and identical headers are a giveaway. The filters profile sender behavior, not just message content.

If you randomize send intervals, rotate headers slightly, and keep engagement ratios steady you’ll see a noticeable lift no matter the platform.

It's not just you, bro. I noticed the same thing starting a few months ago.
Even good domains get flagged if you scale too fast.
I've started warming longer and mixing in "real conversation" type emails - works better than pure promos.

A new set of rules will enforced by Gmail in 2025 on bulk email senders. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication are now required, along with one-click unsubscribe links. A lower spam complaint rate and better email hygiene are also enforced by Google. Gmail still allows emails to reach the inbox if senders maintain strong reputations, use proper authentication, and follow its updated compliance and security guidelines.
