GSA vs Xrumer - still not conviced what to buy next

24 hours later, I see a huge learning curve for Xrumer.

I also see no immediate positive points to Xrumer (compared to GSA), but I guess I have to dig deeper into macros and other stuff, however, help is minimal (a wiki which you need to translate from Russian and a manual which is minimal). The software itself doesn't make it easier, it has no UX.

Since you already have GSA and as I can remember, you can use it on 2 different pcs. Why don't you try something like RankerX? Xrumer is sort of gaining a bad reputation these days.

You can use GSA on one PC only - one license, one machine.

At the moment I am running a test on two machines, to see if Xrumer beats GSA on the same link list (blogs/guestbooks/forums).

However, checking successfully posted links in Xrumer seems to be a pain in the ass and also not reliable.

Xrumer appears to be stuck in the last decade, even though it works very easily with forums, for example. Like an old car with many horsepower and, for example, air conditioning with the only options "ON/OFF" :))

Ok, I am impressed by the way Xrumer handles forums posting. It can also handle blog/comment posting, but nothing special here, GSA works better.

Xrumer pluses:
- amazing speed and accuracy when it comes to forum posting. If you also get Xevil, I think it is the perfect tool for forum posting. A total beast :)
- proxy/email management is good.
- pretty good support in the first days, even though I heard horror stories about their support.
- reports of successful links are detailed, but I haven't found a way to strip the text comments after each link and get the full urls list with no text around it.

Xrumer minuses:
- huge learning curve for almost all users.
- everything else, really. UX is bad, verifying posted links should be done either by hand, or by using Scrapebox or by reading 100x times the manual.
- lack of direct options to choose anchor text percentage - you can only do it by spintax.
- lack of customization for forum posts, blog post etc - it's one spun piece of content for all.
- prepare yourself to work with a lot of files, like 20 years ago. Everything is retrieved manually from files.
- lack of good documentation. the docs are made by the authors, according to their logic -> it takes a while to understand.
- after 3 months, you need to pay $10 to be able to use the program for 30 days more. It's not recurring.
- last but not least, BE AWARE, it can submit to contact forms here and there, support says it confuses feedback forms with contact forms sometimes, but Xrumer by default will not post in contact forms. From what I see in the logs, it's different. So it's a risk you will take unless you read and ask a lot how to disable this.

Overall, I am not going to dismiss Xrumer, in fact, I am going to run full campaigns through it and see the final results. Unfortunately, the best thing to do after a blast is to wait a while and check backlinks with Ahrefs, their system of checking verified links is beyond my understanding, in terms of logic and usability.

In the end, GSA SER is far better, but Xrumer might be good for some types of blasting which still works with some search engines.

if you want huge number of submission in blog/forums. nothing can beat xrumer. trust me. you can work on 400+ site all together. no need to buy capatcha resolver services. automatic free proxies gathering and filtered. but you have to waste time on gathering new website links. xrumer have another program for that.

So far, I find GSA much better for blogs/guestbooks. Xrumer is absolutely incredible on forum posting, in terms of speed and accuracy.

RankerX is another automated backlinks tool. They just released their new version, you can try it for free I think
try for free, but the price tag....

It's worth it if you're planning on selling services, but considering you can get 100K gsa links from seoclerk for $2. I would never in a million years buy a tool for this.

I would consider gsa for my own google stacks becasue I can control the link velocity a bit, put 25 threads in or something low and run it on my freenas box running win10 on VM.

If you outsource you'll get 100K link in 24 hours.

The main problem with Xrumer i think is you need to pay heavy for a bulletproof server to run it, that is where your $$$ will go, BUT you get Xevil to use which imo is the best captcha solver by far.

GSA is good too, like some guys were saying you need your own lists, what i do is i have a bit of software that scans spammed forums, extracts / seperates the platforms, uploads them to a server, in GSA's settings, use your custom URL (which is pulling your links from MYSQL) like: https://www.yoursite.com/crawler/api-crawler.php?s=1&page=%page% not done this for a while but worked fairly ok when i last did it.

Both have pros / cons, iXrumer is much faster but i don't use speed as a factor anymore :)

regards

Graham

One quick way to get lots of links is to use extraction (Scrapebox), then Platform Indentifier (from GSA) to sort them out a bit.

Yes, Xrumer is faster but it takes a lot of time to learn how to set it up at full potential, not to mention the hardware resources, so I use it mostly for forum posting. For the rest I am still using GSA SER.

Overall, just out of the box, GSA SER is much more flexible, complete and easy to use. Also the support is top notch.

Long story short, I have GSA but it submits to 30% of the sites in my list, no matter how many times I re-run the campaigns. Because I need quantity for this project I am running, I am obviously thinking about buying another license. The question is: GSA or Xrumer?

I am very familiar with GSA, I like the program and support, but it just misses a HUGE number of sites where other people post. I've added a few tweaks, still totally not satisfied about the results.

I use GSA with Capmonster, so Xevil is not really required, but it will be a nice addition for solving other types of captchas besides Recaptcha, if I settle for Xrumer.

What would you buy for quantity (blog/guestbooks/any type of post spam)?

if you want to buy for quantity (Blog, Guestbooks/any type of post spam, GSA or Xrumer is the best. I recommend you should use COMBO tools like:

RankerX + XEvil
GSA + RankerX
Scrapebox

I using this SEO tools to dominate SERP results.

Xrumer is best if you only wants the thousands of forums profile or forums post links. But Gsa can post to different platforms like forums, web2.0 etc. So if you want only the forums links then you should have to buy the xrumer otherwise you can try the Gsa.

still looking that one , run on cloud , web base type, no need buy proxy , is like all in one , ready to use and easy just pay one time , I doubt there will be one .....
If it's on cloud it means someone has to pay for it every month, so no way they're going to offer that, only if they're going to disappear after a few months/years.

Xrumer is very good for forum spamming = tier 2/3, and Xrumer forum posts also act as an "indexer", and easily make index hard to indexed backlinks

if you know the correct way to use it as tier 2/3 then your tier 1/PBN authority will fly high into the sky

Hi guys, im trying to decide too what software to buy =) as i'm interested and want to try automatic lb for tier 2/3 (GSA, SB and Xrummer).

I dont get what is "subscription" is in Xrummer. program doesnt work withouth sub?

I see xrummer xrummer is sold with "all the things you need" but gsa SER has addiontal recommended products like gsa proxy scraper,or gsa seo indexer. Are necesary any of these to work properly?

and finally, SB can be used for lb too as the other 2?

Thank you very much,
