It's a good question, I know there are some good groups that people use to pool their money together to use these different platforms. I have never used one, but I have thought about it.

It might look suspicious if you have been making payments to the same account as a normal transaction, then all of a sudden paying that account with the friends and family option. If one of you can set up a new paypal account to use that does not have a payment history showing between you two...
