While I must say I've started in a much better period than now. Having technical skills is going to do half the work especially without a college degree. You need to be confident and and show how passionate you are this will be your main selling point.

You should feel good to be you. You may be quirky or extremely energetic and that's okay, nobody is perfect. Finding somebody that loves you without making you act different or wanting to change you is the goal. Talking and listening is really important in a relationship, you'll figure it out.
