The tag can't be used. It's only supported by Google search compliance infrastructure service. Shame, i'd love to see a tag like that rolled out. Looks like i'm going to be rewriting a lot content out, over and over again. FUN!

I'm worried about these directory listings caused this...hmm, i submitted to around 100 2 weeks ago with about 3 variations of title, anchor text etc. to be honest i thought only a handful would ever publish, i guess i was wrong. I haven't got any other sh*t links pointing to the page apart...

I've seen it, big drop also! I've only got a small back link profile but many of them are from strong educational (.edu or .ac.uk) website. I thought because i had good strong links pointing to the page i might be able to point of low quality directory links also to page (more referring IP's) -...

I've had a big drop last night, I've had a look on the page...either loads of directory listings got indexed which Google didn't like or it's penalizing on anchor text even harder of anchor texts distribution. This was a strong page, 4-6 juicy links from University blogs :(

Raventools uses SEOmoz Open site explorer API anyway, and with the basic package you can only do 30 a month. Majestic SEO is the way forward!

Linkscape (SEOMoz) has the largest index, but it's only updated once a month, personally i use Majestic SEO as it constantly indexes the internet and you will see your links appear much quicker. Personally i feel Majestic will soon become much bigger than SEOmoz's Link Index More services...
