<!--googleoff: all--> <!--googleon: all--> Anybody used these tags?

At the bottom of my clients webpages there are 3 divs with content + links in - a variation of these div's are repeated throughout the site, each div is placed on about 20 pages.
Some of these pages are well fairly optimised PR5 pages which should rank for their key terms. I'm thinking that the divs at the bottom of the page (with content and links) are having a negative effect as they house duplicate content.

a way around this would to be to include <!--googleoff: all--> <div>example</div> <!--googleon: all--> so that Google doesn't index that part of the website.

Has anybody had experience using these tags and do they actually work?

Even though these tags can be used, I would still bet that Google will "read" the content within, and you would prob get the duplicate content penalty for that particular keyword/page.

The tag can't be used. It's only supported by Google search compliance infrastructure service. Shame, i'd love to see a tag like that rolled out.
Looks like i'm going to be rewriting a lot content out, over and over again. FUN!

I used those tags but i am not sure about the act of that tag.
It provided some output that i could not understood why happening this and what can i do with this.
