If you are a great Linux User and Fan, There are many plans about 5/month for Linux Operating System only. That's about average price for shared hosting.

Some hosts are very stingy with their resources. You should have as much resources as a dedicated server for your plan in our eyes.

If you are looking for Unlimited Bandwidth. Look at providers in Toronto Canada or even Kanas near google. The traffic is usually unliited but the cap isn't. The cap is quite big 1GB on most.

Uptime is Key. Stick to the Hosts the gives you the best uptime ratio :)
