Blogcommenting doesn't work for linkjuice anymore, since you can spam 10000+ comments an hour.. It might gain you a bit traffic, but wont really affect your rank

Don't spam.. They are very likely to ban you if you join like 100 boards in 2 days, or spam a lot of pins.. Beside that, i want you to be patient. The first 0->500 followers takes long time, after that you should get 30-100 followers a day, if you just follow a few, and repin a bit
