you can call them tell them your from amazon and developed seller trying out ebay- i lifted my limit the 2nd day to 50k/ 5000 items. but category limit still implies- however i got my own way to take care of category limit which is kind of hard to explain.

just make another account and start selling- u need to abandon the account to prevent them from banning you- once they ban u ur ip, address, phone is in the blacklist. which sucks badly.
