Is there any benefit into randomly and chaotic interlinking of tier 1 links. I mean I guess they could in some way increase the relevancy of your tier 1.

The fact is I thought the home page was under optimized since it only had one keyword in the body and the title. I'll try doing some of your suggestions and also use a nofollow, noindex tag on the internal page since that is just a lead capture form for a funnel.
