Hi there! 1- It always matter because that way, you can have lots of people to directly contact you or share your website. 2- The license just stop you from updating the theme, nothing else. The same goes for plugin btw. But i don't advice to install a nulled theme as it's a breach in security...

Welcome to the community :) You could do what @Putabanana said or maybe build a website and sell your method there. That mean more cash for you as there will be no intermediate! Basically, you will find plenty of information in the Journeys section and lots of advice :) Hope you will suceed too!
