Hello there, yes indeed when we are writing, we attempt to include flavour as to where the text implies it is from. we say "go right ahead" as something we use around the office when we are talking to Americans, we speak in American accents so as to try to get the flavour right, we do the same...

Indeed over this side of the water one would say it's safe to say, it's safe to bet is also an Americanism. :beach2:
