Yes they are called 'sitelinks' but they are reviewed based on the structure of these links and how the algorithm interprets them... This is why I recommended a sitemap.

Correct - This is later accomplished by Google. But, it inherits your sitemap - make sure you've submitted it. In regards to rich snippets; these are only if you have repetitive structured data that can take advantage of them (I.e. ratings, songs, scores, etc.)
