Hi everyone, If someone builds backlinks through guest posts and then uses click fraud (like bots or fake traffic) to generate clicks on those links, could this lead to a Google penalty? Would Google see this as manipulative behavior, even if the guest posts themselves are on legit websites...

I'm from a third-world country, and if I had a million dollars (which is considered a huge amount where I live) I definitely wouldn’t be working the way I do now. I’d start a few businesses with that money and have people working for me instead.

Link exchanges are not acceptable to Google and can be risky. Google considers reciprocal linking part of link schemes if it’s done to manipulate rankings. It may ignore such links or worse, penalize the sites, algorithmically or manually.

Ok but there are like 97 backlinks with the same exact match anchor text pointing to our site! And ~200 backlinks with the same partial match anchor texts! and some of them are quality high DA backlinks ... So I need to create lots of backlinks to diversify anchor profiles, right??

Hello BHW The ranking of some of our site pages has dropped in the latest Google update. There are too many do-follow links with exact and partial anchor texts pointing to these pages and I think that's what caused the site's ranking to drop. Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit these...

I've seen lot's of backlinks similar to these links recently on my backlink profile in ahref and semrush . Never purchased any link from those website. Should I be concerned ?

Well I checked my backlinks on semrush today and I saw many of them on my backlink profile which were made recently! But I didn't ordered any link from those sites . maybe someone is using negative seo against my website ???
