I don't think it's very hidden anymore, but they added the ad preview awhile back so you can quickly see all the competitors advertising for a given keyword without the need for like a Spyfu subscription.
Include a pricing page if you're a saas product. I've heard the objections so many times, and every time, I don't care if there's actual pricing information on there, as long as you explain the breakdown or structure. It's always one of the highest converting pages on the site once they do.
So a few years back there was a piece that I think might relate to this... Google Ads revenue had dipped YoY and so one exec pretty much pushed for making organic search results less reliable in an effort to increase engagement with paid search ads. So that's what they did and revenue rebounded...
Patience and paid. Typically for clients that want to go a straight organic strategy I almost always steer them in the direction of taking even just a small portion of the budget toward paid search/LI.
Second perplexity. I've had better luck with gemini for content generation, that said, my prompts are pretty strict. Always make sure you're prompting on tone, and even give references of content you think is solid for it to reference.
You shouldn't have issues with GSC at 3,000 pages. There's a couple of things you can try before moving to another tool.
