Its pointless to analyze the google change... Why? cause many search results turn up SHIT like 503'2 or pages with NO useful content. That means that google will fix that, they are smart enough that this would cause many users to switch to bing etc if they wont...
Long story short, get out in...
Alright, I'll be in the minority on this one... but the main problem everyone that gets hit is only a single one: "betting on one horse"...
Thats what gets you crushed. And once in a time, the risk of setting all bets on one horse was a good idea... when manipulating google serps was easy to do...
hey folks,
I am working on a white hat authority site based on wordpress... the main strategy for that site will be lots of useful and unique content. But since that will take a LOT of time, maybe you guys can help me out with tricks to add some fast links to new content, maybe even...
There will be no case study with a blast from MrE's Service. At least I guess so, he did not reply to my PM... However, my site is now on place 2, I guess that AMR blast was not that weak after all, and more articles got approved by now...
Remember me for criticizing your thread as marketing? Turns out your conclusion does not sound like markting, but like a reasonable result. Taking into consideration what you already mentioned, poor content/onpage seo.
I guess link pushing does only make sense if you have not only great onpage...
I almost overlooked it, but MrE offered a blast from his service to see if we can beat the 2 websites above my site. I've sent him my url+ keyword and will report what happens.
It'll be interesting to see what a high quality blog network can do to beat these authority rankings. yay!
Do you have google analytics installed on your examples? And I am wondering - to get bounce rate statistics, your site has to rank first, does it not? How did you get high enough to get enough traffic for google to see value in your content?
Just wondering - how many articles does your site need until you start seeing these authority effects? Any other factors you would mention to reach this authority status?
I agree too that dmoz / yahoo directory links are not that important. Just look at my image, there are enough sites with links in one or both below my sb / amr blasted site. Proof enough for me I guess.
I don't think bouce rate has something to do with this. Think about it, what does nextag...
Actually, I didn't have it this way for a long time, I changed it but found no movement what so ever up or down. My inner pages have backlinks as well btw, just not as many as the homepage.
As far as I can tell so far any strategy that tries to get money through ranking for a lot of kw, each making a few bucks (i.e. adsense) is an epic fail now. Because in order to rank a lot of kw inexpensively, there is no other way then automated link building through sb/xrumer/amr/bookmarking...
from relevant content as in a article related to my niche on a broad website(because that's what I have done already with amr, so I guess you don't mean that), or a content related website?
Hmm, google can't know much about my site - no analytics or other google stuff onsite. But maybe it does for the other domains...
It's time that some bhw members become dmoz mods :D
you mean high page pr manual commenting? Or high pr blog networks? or guest posts on high pr blogs?
I guess...
hey folks,
I'm trying to rank for a keyword, well actually it was only a test setup but now what bothers me is that I can't get to no1 easily - because its supposed to be a VERY easy keyword(look at the screenshot). I don't understand it so maybe someone can jump in and give me some hints.
My...
