Indexing tool. From my experience, links usually get indexed automatically and how long for them to get indexed by Google is based on quality of site or maybe size of the site for Google to crawl? I have had links index within 24 hours, 72 hours and some took a couple weeks.
No difference with TLD, I have been getting a bunch of TLD's that look good. Hopefully people will be more understanding towards websites that are not .com. Majority still prefer .com but I've noticed more businesses using other TLD's lately, even for their main site.
Usually the free SSL's, lets encrypt 128 bit are secure but do not come with dynamic site seal which you may want to appease your visitors. For seo it just needs to be secure.
If you're okay with spending some money Google and Bing give you credit towards your account after you spend a certain amount. Pretty good for some traffic but it will be up to you to keep them on your site.
