IG is supposed to have over 1 billion active users per month. I don't even think it would be fair to call it over saturated, because the pie is just too big. That could be a gross simplification, but I think it still stands.

Look for relevant, high profile people in your niche. Check their engagement rates to make sure their followers are decent-high quality. Reach out to them via DMs

From a tool that I use: < 1,000 - 8% <5,000 - 5.7% <10,000 - 4% <100,000 - 2.4% 100,000+ - 1.7% Based on analyzing more than 1 million influencer profiles. Of course, this is just an average, it will most likely be different across niches and geo locations

The first 1k is always the hardest, at least in my opinion. Make sure your content is up to par, engage with other pages constantly, and just grind it out. For hashtags, I would check out Nickname's Rise Decoded software, I've been using it for awhile and it definitely increased my engagement...

Unless you have the capital, getting to 100k followers by Q3 seems next to impossible, let alone 8k in the next 3-4 weeks. Unless you have a lot of money to drop on shououts/influencers, I would try renegotiating to a more reasonable amount.
