Average Instagram Engagement/Reach??

Does anyone know what the average engagement rate and reach is for Instagram posts as a percentage of followers throughout all of Instagram?

There is no "average" engagement, but you can determine if yours is good based on other accounts in your niche.

I'm no expert, but I have noticed that certain images and subjects do better with likes/comments than others. Maybe someone has done some research on that, but again... I'm no expert.Hey,

I've seen even some of the profiles with the most followers on Instagram have trouble maintaining above 5%. But the best (i.e. they appeal perfectly to the crowd of teens by being pranksters, viral video makers, and more on Instagram, plus had carryover followers from YouTube, Vine, and other platforms) including world leaders and top entertainers seem to get around 10% on top posts, but most hover below 10%.

The majority of statistic websites count it for yhe last 10 or 12 posts . The good engagement is 8-10% but the instagram algorithm only keeps this engagement for the accounts smaller than 150k-200k and they decrease a little bit for the bigger accounts 200k+ (i mean decreasing the reach of course) so the good engagement for this big accounts is 5%+
