How many tags should I use per post?

I publish 3 articles of 2100 words each week on my wordpress blog. I use seo yoast for "SEO Title" "Meta Description" and "Metakeywords", but I never use "Tags" Is it important? Will tags benefit my SEO? Is there a plugin? How many tags per article?
