It would still work if you could somehow get legitimate viewers to the video. If you had a lot of channel views then the video could get some exposure and make some money.

Actually if you bought in bulk and only used cheap mini computers or netbooks you could probably get 100 of 'em for aroubd $120-$150 a pop.
That equates to $12,000 total money spent.
Name someone who could live off that kind of money.
I have heard that you can get paid by getting someone's youtube views (or comments) up but obviously you would only get paid about 0.03 cents for 1000 views.
Same goes for liking Facebook pages or clicking on people's adsense ads (if this is illegal please tell me as I am unaware)...
