the copyright owner is the one getting the money,. Thats the case in most situations, so dont be too envious of every youtubers who upload copyrighted works, most of the time the are just working to make someone richer.

stay away from copyright stuff, unless you love doing it for free and make the already rich copyright owners more richer eventually the IP bubble will burst and you give your earning to someone's fat bank account.
