Keep at it. It seems like you are generating small, but steady revenue. I know most of these guys seem to go for a "go big or go home" mentality. But starting small isn't bad. Generate some success and then branch out.

Strange, I would have imagined that the higher cost the thing being sold, the higher the affiliate program would pay. I would never have expected to see web hosting high on the list.

I honestly think that if you are going to be running based on unique content, then the quality of the content will be the biggest determining factor to your success or failure. Perhaps that goes without saying, but I imagine that there are many topics in your particular focus that are well...

I would honestly say that you should hop on some voice chat sites. Chat with random Americans and try and pick up the lingo. Certainly read american novels, blogs and watch movies. But I think chat rooms and voice chat sites would be your best site.
