Alright, from what I can see. It goes through and you can see it using YT app, don't see it on web. Maybe someone can continue to play around with it. Find a method where the account gets a hard notification instead of looking for it in mentions tab. Anyways, worth a try! Cheers

No email notification was sent by yt, going to try to see. If a web based notification comes in with other methods. Maybe by tagging in video titles etc

Just tested it on myself, on the YT app. Click on notifications then hit Mentions tab. Going to look into it more, to see if a email is sent out as well.
