Cool story bro. What I meant was to actually convert the BTC to cash and have it in your bank account you would need to launder the money. If you're up for that risk more power to you. No way you would get away with just saying large sums of money is magically just being sent you.
LE = law enforcement
But ok yea now I see thanks. If i'm understanding correctly with localbitcoin you're just getting people to send money to your paypal, and also it leaves no actual info unless the person themself alerts of the transaction. That's a pretty good method.
I'll probably want to...
Thank you for writing this all out your teaching me so much :weep: It all makes sense up to #3 "make the person send payment to ur paypal id". When you create a paypal for your business then it would be tied to your identity. Wouldn't LE be able to trace the money to the transaction on localbitcoin?
@SteveWhite can you go into more detail about the "fake selling site & proper invoicing" part? Where can I learn more about doing this properly (especially making the invoices look "proper")?
That's cool you got it working. I'm currently planning out how to set something similar up.
For your note about btc payout on a fake site: Do you have any resources I can look up to learn how to do this? Also do ad networks even pay out in BTC?
From what I read "follow the money" would still be an issue for you in 2 different ways:
1. If you make a ton of money via bitcoin it would be very difficult to "cash out" and actually use that money without suspicion from LE.
2. If you add ads to your site you would need to sign up to some...
Hey all, I'm planning on starting a movie streaming site and I know how to buy the domain and host off-shore, but what i'm worried about is actually making money without being caught.
For example if i'm working with an ad company and they get raided, then my actual real info would be tied to...
That's awesome you got a good setup, but that still feels risky to me. If for some reason your ad network gets busted your info will be end up in the hands of LE.
@Rachmaninoff Thank you for sharing this. I completely understand the technical aspects, but do you have advice on actually cashing out and remaining anonymous? Ad revenue would need to be paid out to an account linked to your real ID eventually. The government would start asking questions on...
