I am in the U.S.. Why is wordpress better than sites like wix, squarespace, weebly etc?

So I'm in between using a Wordpress site or a website builder i.e squarespace.com, webs.com etc. I've never built a site or wordpress before. What do you guys recommend? Wix is def out of the question because I investigated and I read some horrible reviews. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the Jets had to slow down, you would need a lot of power to send a man 800 mph. And Idk if the human body can resist that much pressure/gforce without protective gear( i.e cockpit.)
