intellisense, great debugger to step through code, the gui is solid.
If you are a beginner and do not have knowledge on compilers and the low level workings all of your code will have bugs galore.
my question is why do you want to learn C++? are you interested in network programming? software?
I would stay away from books for the most part, Some are good but most are meh.Problem with books are they are edited and published by non-programmers so alot of the meat is taken out. The real info is in the whitepapers. Read those and apply it.
