The thing with some Clickbank products is that they have $1.00 Trials for first 30 days and then the rebill payment kicks in which is usually $40 - $97 depending on the product and you make 50% commissions off that. To get upfront sales, people must either buy a upsell or some special guarantee...

The size of the list does not matter, it's the method of how you build it and what you promote. There's a great thread on here about list building, the 40k per month post.
