Why it should be a problem? Google can see any information from GWT even if you do not use it. GWT shows you only backlinks that Google already found, nothig more.- myso07

Need help to get indexing italian keywords
If he needs to rank in italy, focus on italian content. It can be a little more expensive, BUT it will look much more natural and Google will less likely penalize the site.- myso07

IMHO there is no need to use rel canonical. I personally use it only if there is some description of category used on more pages.- myso07
