I changed from electronics because of the ruddy number of faulty items, my shrinkage rates were too high (or maybe I was just selling too cheap!!!) good to see someone making a good go of it.
Putting video onto YouTube is very simple to do; getting people to watch the video can be a little tricky.
You could help yourself my making your video easier to find through Google or YouTube search, here are some of the techniques you could try to get your video to the top of the rankings...
Other (more old skool) techniques could include:
1. Ensuing that your sign up process is crystal clear and that the benefits of signing up are obvious
2. If you have a blog then have the option to sign up to newsletters etc close to your comments boxes
3. Test different positions for sign up...
As this is posted in the White Hat SEO forum then I guess the official answer is to do nothing right now, good content will attract good quality inbound links over time which will improve your SEO.
If you are looking for a quick fix, you could try buying some linking from any reputable business...
No it shouldn't be difficult, just use the Google Disavow tool to remove the influence of any poor inbound links, I've personally had some success with this tool.
Write the script out including all your keywords and then add your script to the Subtitles section within Video Manager. This helps YouTube rank your video for people searching within YT and I am sure will help G rank your video outside of YT.
I agree with koolkake about not making all links NOFOLLOW, Google love it when we share the love, I think they'll use this sharing indicator more in the future to act as a stronger ranking factor.
