In their lab they created a 'long tail' keyword.. in other words a term that is less likely to have very little competition. Also considering what they gathered.. I don't think the ranking really matters.. I think it's only the click that gets transmitted them.

To answer OP.. they are worth only what you put into them. The idea of domains being worth something only happens at the top echelons with names like sex.com beer.com business.com seo.com and so on. The branding ideas you come up with will to match your domain names will only hold value once...
