Thanks. What do you suggest for keyword research? I used the Ahrefs Free Keyword Generator and found a keyword with Difficulty Easy and Volume >100 that fits my website. Should I look for something better or is this fine already?

I have a website which offers chess eBooks. It's almost exactly 1 year old and averages around 50 visits/day. I am currently trying to target my keyword with a blog under the same domain. Also I have made promotional videos on social media which have done okay. I haven't really gotten into SEO...

Thanks for the reply. That was my thought process as well, so I made the decision yesterday and put the blog on my subdomain. I guess having it on the same domain makes sense too, but I already organized the rest of the site using subdoms so want to keep that consistent.

I have a website and I want to promote it using a blog. Right now I'm setting it up so that the blog sits at blog.(mywebsite).com. The idea is, to have a way to produce more "quality" content from the same domain I want to grow. Is this better than getting a new domain and starting the blog...
