Sorry, I haven't logged in in a bit, I don't play in the real estate website area anymore and haven't for a while, so any info I have is severely dated. You're going to have to do some research on what APIs people use, (and they vary depending on what r/e board you want to hook up into).

I'm tempted because the product is integral to the theme of the post and subject matter. I did a quick KW search and found that there wasn't spam links on the front page, but good articles, I just wonder if there'd be a way then to hide the word from the crawler so it doesn't get penalized...
I'm starting a new niche blog, and I have a word that I want to use in one of the authority posts that is often viewed as spam or connected to porn sites or whatever. It's a legit post about women's health and how ED products (Viagra and such) have created issues for women. Do I just go ahead...

EDIT: ETA on 2.0? (Found the answer you posted on the main SB thread)
The teaser vid looks exciting! :clap2: and adding some thanks to your posts when I find them :)
*grin* just start using words like scrapers, proxies, VPS, Virtual Machines, CSS Style sheets, Wordpress Coding, internet security and anything else that you know they haven't got a clue about... Watch their eyes glaze over. Carry around a big bound SEO book and offer it to them to read...
