I agree! I always manually create about 8 high quality articles/ blogs and diversify anchor text but always at least 2 exact + LSI. Then link to those sites and then link to those ect. This aslo allows me to keep in control of the backlink profile! Matt Cutz gave a clue.... Its about quality...
