I think quality matters a lot. If we do proper editing and add value in the AI content, then it still works.

I use Ahrefs doing keywords research. If I need low competitive, I go to the keywords having minimum 4 words and 1 site with DR 10 in top 5 positions.

I think, in competitive niches it takes time to outrank competitors. Also, it requires budget depending on the competitors backlinks profile for quality relevant backlinks. Not only content matters now a days, backlinks also necessary.

I think it depends. If the website traffic is growing with the passage of time and is not badly affected by Google updates, it has more value than a website which has no authority in eyes of Google.

I think, if we get do-follow link from a relevant page (to our page content) which has real organic traffic and minimum number of outbound links, that will be more beneficial. Moreover, text around our anchor text also matters i think.

I think, if the content is write by human by following quality guidelines, the affiliate site still works well in low competitive micro niches. I also had an affiliate website back in 2021 earning up to $400/month but then ranked down after I used AI generated content.

I think even the traffic from AI does not improve rankings in search results, though if you are running money site like e-commerce/product selling , that may bring sales sometimes.

I think, If you can adjust and resolve Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) of your website, the speed will be improved. On my case, I usually use Kadence Theme which have low Cumulative Layout Shift and speed is automatically good.
