Thanks great reply, but I was wondering, given that there are more people in the USA than the UK, would it be safer to go with US hosting - I read somewhere that google prefers to rank sites that have local hosting first?

There isn't really a difference - They both mean pretty much the same thing: Creating a good title that comprises your specific keywords, in the best order and long enough to include as many as you can within reason.

Personally I would just go with the "Foodprice,net" example because it's still a partial match. Two EMD websites for the same niche will just half the traffic (not just SEO from social media etc), will half the content you can put on the site and won't do much for branding. On the other hand...
