You'd have to be careful. I don't know the exact rules, but cybersquatting is illegal here in the US. It's also frowned upon in many other countries. I remember when someone picked up Carlos Slim's domain, and offered to sell it back to him. He was able to simply sue them to get it back, lol.

Why should his site go down? I believe it's possible to change your registrar, and even your host, without downtime.

I guess you would just put the HTML embed code into your content that is to be posted. The problem may be that some of the sites you are posting to don't allow that. You could make a custom campaign that just posts to those sites that accept the code, if you wanted to.

It is possible that the site dropped due to it's age only. IIRC I have had sites pop up for the first day or so, and then drop way back without any activity of my own. On the other hand, I don't recall ever having a site drop this far back. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, but it does...
