With MS down, What do you guys use now?

I can't judge the competition on the first page of google for a niche I want to start because MS is down.

The results are youtube videos and stuff so I know I can probably beat those out, but I like to have MS back me up. With it not working, what tools are you guys using now?

Ya idk wtf is up with market samuri. It is completely pissing me off. I was seriously relying on that for my data. And pfft.. idk now. I have been using online resources that are completely unreliable. some say I have DMOZ status, some don't
 
Go with traffic travis, it still works very well :) Rank tracking can be found via "view/compare" button right of the keyword.

EDIT: and yeah i'm pissed aswell, i bought Market Samurai maybe 4 months ago.... got it cheaper than normally via "redebate" but looks like i got myself into someones fucking spam list and now i'm getting ALOT of spam.

samurai guys just sent out a notice on why everything is happening, soon they'll be moving away from google to bing, i really like samurai too, it's the only software i've used in the past year that has a colorblind option.
 
It's the end of Market Samurai for me, I won't be using it again, luckily I have Traffic Travis 3, which is still working fine after all this time.

With all these old tools still working fine (I haven't updated TT3 in months), it's plain to see that Google changed nothing and it's Market Samurai's business model that was their downfall.

Even if they switch back to using Google and not Bing, I won't give a penny to a company that downright lies to it's customers.
 
Traffic Travis 4. Its just a shame it only goes up to 100 results.
 
MS is working fine for me. I don't know what you are crying about....
 
Has anyone tried to leave a negative sounding comment on the MS blog post where they talk about this?

They are editing them out and most of the comments are actually fanboys sucking up and saying THANKS!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! What a joke!

I just left a comment saying how my out of date Traffic Travis 3 still works to check ranking. Wonder if it will get through?

for TRAFFIC TRAVIS------ is a keyword with "Relatively Easy" as the difficulty for SEO competition, a green light to go ahead?
 
MS is working fine for me. I think the Rank Tracker module is having trouble based on what I've read on their blog, but it sounds like you're mentioning the SEO Competition tab, which is not giving me any trouble at all.

I've never used Traffic Travis ... so I can't recommend whether you should switch to it or not.
 
I have personally never found MS to be better than Micro Niche Finder anyway. Been using it since early 2009 and haven't had any problems til date.

You need to learn how to use the gkwt and seo quake to analyze competition on the first page manually. NEVER trust the built in competition analyzers that come with these tools as there's a lot of things that the software's algo's don't take into consideration.
