They do not increase rankings, but for sure they help you avoid anchor overoptimization and build brand value by getting a naked achor text backlink.

From own experience I'd say to disavow them asap. I had a client who refused to disavow them simply because his rankings were increasing (he had good ranks before that too.) What happened next? He came back to me 3 months later after his site completely tanked. :)

Just some crawling problem of a 3rd party tool. Get the domain, index it. You can either recreate that page or 301redirect. Then send some social signals and some T2 to the forbes page (as someone said above) and check your link in GSC. Good luck!:)
